Chocolate with dreams...

Well little Alphonse did not win the cutest pet competition, but he is still our cutest pet by far! I swear he is human and knows exactly what I am saying most of the time.

Last week Tatum, by grandma Joan and I drove up to Mums farm in Wangaratta for a few days. I havn't seen the place for months and was shocked at how much Mum had done. The gardens are better than the botanical gardens, and inside is just gorgeous...it is a testament to Mums hard work and determination. We had beautiful food, fed the cows, walked around the paddocks, and then headed home...without Tatum. She decided to stay a few more days, and Tom picked her up in Melbourne later in the week as Mum and Alan came down for a wedding.

Also, we have exciting news. We have decided to buy the house we have been renting for four years. We have spoken to the owner and to the bank and next year it should be ours if all goes to plan! I am looking at the place with new eyes, we have so many plans: knock out that wall, knock down this wall, new kitchen, wooden floors, bifold doors, two way gas log fire, update bathroom...oh it will be gorgeous when we are done! I have never owned my own home, and I am so excited that we are on track to finally do it.

Anyway, tomorrow is Easter Sunday and we are having a family lunch at my cousins, which will be nice. Hope the Easter break brings plenty of chocolate and family fun your way.

Tara x
